Short Bio

As a seasoned professional in the field of Accounting and Finance, I have accomplished significant milestones throughout my career. In 2018 and 2019, I proudly published research articles in two reputable Scopus journals: the International Journal of Finance & Economics by Wiley Publisher and Data in Brief, Volume 24, June 2019, 103979 by Scopus Journal, Elsevier Publisher. My commitment to professional development is evident through my active participation in seminars and workshops. I have been honored with various awards and certificates of appreciation, including recognition from prestigious institutions such as the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research, the Khalifa Award for Education, the Dean of the College of Business Administration, and The Sixth Approach Student Scientific Conference of AUST Network at the University of Ajman of Science & Technology. Furthermore, I have obtained the Certificate Award to practice as a Certified Accountant and Auditor from the Accountancy and Auditing Profession Organization Council (AAPOC). In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have organized educational trips tailored to the courses I teach. For instance, I arranged visits for my Oil and Gas Accounting students to Baker Hughes Incorporation (BHI), the world’s third-largest oil services company. Similarly, I took my Managerial Accounting students to Tawazun Industrial Park, providing them with real-world exposure. Moreover, I facilitated placements for my Auditing students at TALAL Abu GAZAL audit firms, enabling them to gain valuable hands-on experience. My professional background also includes working as an external auditor for independent chartered and certified firms. In this capacity, I conducted audits for various commercial and industrial companies such as IKEA, examined banking institutions like Citibank, and assessed trade and non-profit organizations such as OXFAM. Overall, my extensive experience and diverse range of achievements in academia, research, and professional practice have contributed to my expertise and ability to make a meaningful impact in the field of Accounting and Finance.
