Dr. Hend Mohamed is assistant professor in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences , Allied health science department at Liwa College of Technology, Abu Dhabi. She obtained her Ph.D. from Ain Shams University,( her specialist is chemistry) .

She serves as lecturer for more than 20 years in higher education institutes. She has acquired well experience and expertise across various domains, including teaching, administration, and faculty development. Throughout her career, she has assumed diverse roles such as vice chair of exam committee, chair of exam committee and a head of general and foundation education department. Demonstrated leadership ability and ingenuity in developing and conducting academic and professional courses/programs.

Short Bio

Prior to joining LC, Dr. Hend worked as teaching staff in Faculty of science of women Ain Shams University, 1997-2004. Prior to this, she worked as Researcher, Petrochemicals Department, Egyptian petroleum research Institute (EPRI), 2007 -2011. Dr. Hend has a record of publications in prestigious journals and conferences in the fields of organic chemistry, surface active agents, anti-corrosion, anti-tumors. She supervised many theses in organic chemistry and course completion projects. She has participated in many scientific conferences, seminars and workshops. Her areas of research include the preparation of surfactants and their application to the medical, pharmaceutical, industrial and other fields.
Dr. Hend has demonstrated leadership skills by leading a research grant and effectively managing resources to achieve research objectives.
Beyond her instructional pursuits. She actively participates in curriculum and syllabi development, while also serving on esteemed committees such as the examination committees, equivalence committees and social committees.
Her publication in 2011 was the best and winner , 11th International symposium on metal Ions in Biology and medicine conference and this is considered a new discovery therapy for one of the most dangerous kind of cancer)
