Dr. Mohamed Rashad is the Head of the PR Department at the Media and PR faculty, with a tenure exceeding two decades in the realm of higher education institutions. He has acquired extensive experience and expertise across various domains, including teaching, administration, and faculty development besides working in different printed newspapers and news websites. Throughout his career, he has assumed diverse roles such as head of the Mass Communication department, Head of Program effectiveness committee, Head of Quality assurance committee and faculty coordinator.

Short Bio

Dr. Mohamed Rashad has teaching experience in Egyptian and UAE universities, participated in many research and academic conferences locally and internationally, and has authored books in in the field of media. He has extensive experience in both printed and digital press and participated in TV programs. Member of the Egyptian Public Relations Association and has experience in the developing of the quality assurance for mass communication programs. He writes articles for digital and printed magazines.

Beyond his instructional pursuits. He actively participates in curriculum and syllabi development, while also serving on esteemed committees such as the International Accreditation Committee, reaccreditation and examination committees, equivalence committees, malpractice committee, Program effectiveness committee and others.

Dr. Mohamed Rashad has a record of publications in prestigious journals and conferences. His research expertise spans across multiple fields, including digital Journalism , printed Journalism, social media, government communication, and specialized studies utilizing discourse analysis methodologies.
