Dr. Rasha Hasan is an assistant professor in the Information Technology Department. She has acquired working experience in teaching and research. Having lived in the Middle East, Europe and America has equipped her with the needed skills to interact successfully and sensibly with people of diverse cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds.
Dr. Rasha obtained her PhD in Computer Science from PUCRS (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul) university in Brazil in January 2017. The PhD thesis was about Virtual Networks resources allocation. She obtained my Master degree in Networking from INSA institute in France (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées). And obtained her BSc degree from Damascus University on Electrical Engineering .
She worked as a researcher in the LAAS-CNRS laboratory in France (Laboratoire d’Analyse et d’Architecture des Systèmes-Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), her research was about Measurements in Wireless Networks. And she worked as a network engineer in The Ministry of communication- PDN center (Public Data Network) in Damascus-Syria.
Dr. Rasha has publications in prestigious conferences (IEEE sponsored, and SCOPUS indexed). Her research expertise spans across multiple fields, including networking, protocols, traffic engineering, Internet of Things and Optimization.
