Dr. Wadah Khogali is an associate professor in the Department of Allied Health Professions at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, with more than 15 years of experience in the field of higher education institutions, clinical, research, and administrative tasks. He has held a variety of positions throughout his career, including director of the medical imaging program, chair of the committee in charge of quality assurance and program evaluations, chair of the committee in charge of peer assessment of teaching and learning, director of the nuclear medicine department, registrar for post-graduate studies, head of the committee in charge of research and post-graduate education, and consultant in radiology and nuclear medicine.

Dr. Wadah Khogali brings tremendous experience in teaching and administrative leadership within the higher education sectors. He improved his teaching methods, skills, and overall knowledge by successfully completed Essentials’ Skills in Medical Education Certificate [AMEE-ESME] – & Essentials’ Skills in Medical Education Assessment Certificate [AMEE-ESMEA] from International Association for Medical Education, and his involvement in various professional and skills enhancements Courses (Academic & Clinical), meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops has significantly enriched her pedagogical repertoire, resulting in enhanced teaching methods, skills, and overall knowledge.

Beyond his educational goals, he actively contributes to the creation of curricula and syllabi and serves on committees, including the International Accreditation Committee, the reaccreditation and examination committees, the Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee, the Portfolio Committee, the Program Evaluation Committee, the Assessments and Grades Committee, the Research and Post-Graduate Education Committee, the Carrier Advisory Office Committee, the COVID19 Control & New-Norm after Pandemic Situation Committee, and the University Educational Standards and Accreditation Committee.

Dr Wadah Khogali is an active member of international professional organizations such as European Society of Radiology, Arab Society of Nuclear Medicine, British Institute of Radiology, Victorian Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologists, International Radiation Protection Association, International Society for Radiographer and Radiologic Technologists, Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, European Society for Hybrid, Molecular and Translational Imaging, American Association for Educators in Radiologic Sciences, International Association for Medical Education, and Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Sciences. He recognized as Senior Contributor to American Society of Radiologic Technologist -ASRT.

Dr Wadah has been nominated as UAE Qualified Experts in Radiation Protection from Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR)- United Arab Emirates.’ [UAE List of Qualified Experts]

Dr. Wadah has a record of over forty publications in highly ranked journals and conferences. As he also an Elsevier Certified Peer Reviewer, his research ability extended to be nominated as a Reviewer for several journals like Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, International Journal of Pharmaceutical Research, Radiation Physics and Chemistry, and Journal of Radiation Research Applied Sciences. (All are Elsevier/Scopus Indexed Journals). Furthermore, Dr. Khogali has national research grant and he supervising M.Sc., Ph.D. Thesis.
