Bridging the gap between academia and industry is our priority at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (FMHS). We organized a visit to Burjeel Hospital, which started with a seminar on the history and development of the hospital, its structure, and various administrative and strategic matters, given by the Operations Manager, Mr. Salem Almahri. We then visited various departments of the hospital, including the laboratory, radiology, orthopedics, cardiology, and surgery, and explored the latest administrative and information systems and technologies. We concluded with a lecture by Dr. Louay Jabban, an orthopedic surgeon at Burjeel Hospital, who introduced the latest technologies and techniques in orthopedic surgery. In conclusion, we would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Burjeel Hospital for their time and cooperation.
