Short Bio

Dr Amit Swamy is an experienced senior academician, forward-thinking, research focused and dynamic leader who has a clear vision towards using engineering for medical driven research, using innovative engineering sciences with nature driven solutions. He has been acknowledged for domain expertise, subject matter know-how and innovative student-centered teaching techniques while completing his Ph. D from the university of Hull, United Kingdom in 2007-08. He has also completed his post-Doctoral research from University of Bristol and Rolls-Royce, United Kingdom in 2010. Thereafter, he was assigned as Head consultant for life estimation projects with Rolls-Royce, UK and other JVs until 2013.

Dr Amit has strongly integrated educational qualification with passionate innovative research, advisory, auditing and consultancy assignments and accreditations for corporate, government and multilateral agencies and educational entities, in addition to pedagogic practices which include assistant professorships / lectureship at premier academic institutions in Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and Canada.

Dr Amit Swamy is a researcher, lead author, reviewer, chair, key note speaker and editor for many international journals, conferences and summits. As a prolific inventor and passionate advocate for diversity in medical science and engineering, Dr Amit has received many acknowledgements, prizes and awards including local and international research grants for groundbreaking inventions and advocacy for STEM fields.
